Product Summary
The CD4514BCN is a line decoder. These circuits are primarily used in decoding applications where low power dissipation and/or high noise immunity is required. The CD4514BCN presents a logical "1" at the selected output, whereas the CD4515BC presents a logical "0" at the selected output. The input latches are R–S type flip-flops, which hold the last input data presented prior to the strobe transition from "1" to "0".
Parametrics
CD4514BCN absolute maximum ratings: (1)DC supply voltage: -0.5 to 18V; (2)Input voltage: -0.5 to VDD+0.5V; (3)Storage temperature range: -65 to 150℃; (4)power dissipation: 700mW; (5)Lead temperature: 260℃.
Features
CD4514BCN features: (1)Wide supply voltage range: 3.0V to 15V; (2)High noise immunity: 0.45 VDD (typ.); (3)Low power TTL: fan out of 2 compatibility: driving 74L; (4)Low quiescent power dissipation: 0.025 µW/package @ 5.0 VDC; (5)Single supply operation; (6)Input impedance = 10; (7)Plug-in replacement for MC14514, MC14515.
